Ferguson Grand Jury

The purpose of a Grand Jury in the United States is to decide whether a crime May have taken place.  It seems a shitty bigot of an ADA decided to present the results in a highly irregular manor to this Grand Jury in the Michael Brown case.  And they decided not to indict.

So… let’s bring this to its lowest level.  An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street.  And this Grand Jury decided that there was no possible way a crime was committed.

An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street and there was no possible way a crime was committed.  Not even worth a trial.  An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street and their is no possibility that a crime occurred.

So, given that this most ridiculous result came from a Grand Jury prompted by a prosecutor who had previously shown a bias, and who had already shown support for the police, how is anyone surprised that a segment of society that has been routinely set upon, beaten down, and ignored has decided that this line is as far as they are willing tolerate?

An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street.  No possibility of a crime being committed.

This weekend, before the Rams-Raiders game, some of the Rams players posed in the “Hands up, don’t shoot” pose as they entered the field before the game.  A show of support for the miscarriage of justice that had occurred in the week before.  A sign that, hey, maybe black teenagers should not be shot dead in the street.

The St. Louis Police Officers Association has made a statement against the Rams players’ displays.  And as it turns out, this SLPOA may have an agenda.

St. Louis Rams football team who chose to ignore the mountains of evidence released from the St. Louis County Grand Jury this week and engage in a display that police officers around the nation found tasteless, offensive and inflammatory.

So, this group of white police officers is annoyed at being lumped in with the group of police officers who deny, ignore, and beat down on individual rights.

Really?  You object to being profiled?  Jackasses.

The SLPOA can take their statement and stuff it where the sun doesn’t shine.  An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street.

When it comes down to it, the fact that there are two different organizations representing police officers and those organizations are split along racial lines explains a lot.  An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street.

An unarmed teenager was shot dead in the street, and somehow, it was decided that there was no possibility a crime was committed.

Yeah, no.  An unarmed person dead in the street has to show that a crime might possibly at some point have been committed.  Unless the dead person is black, apparently.

Yeah, the SLPOA can fuck right off.
